How to listen to improve

  1. Level 1: listen to BBC Radio 2 for five minutes, just to hear the music of the language. Notice words you know.
  2. Level 2: try the news (BBC World Service, NPR). Guess the topic of each story. Use −30 to hear a sentence again.
  3. Level 3: change accent every day: India, Australia, Canada… Write down five new words or expressions and look them up.
